I was shocked, confused, bewildered

as I entered Heaven's door,

Not by the beauty of it all,

nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in Heaven

who made me sputter and gasp--

the thieves, the liars, the sinners,

the alcoholics, the trash

There stood the kid from seventh grade

who swiped my lunch money twice.

Next to him was my old neighbor

who never said anything nice.

Herb, who I always thought

was rotting away in hell,

was sitting pretty on cloud nine,

looking incredibly well.

I nudged Jesus, "What's the deal?

I would love to hear Your take.

How'd all these sinners get up here?

God must've made a mistake.

"And why is everyone so quiet,

so somber? Give me a clue."

"Hush, child," said He, "they're all in shock.

No one thought they'd be seeing you."

Judge NOT.

Let the Lord be your Judge.......

I can say that I'm more critical of those who claim to have views close to my own. And most critical of my own actions.

I will be the first to take responsibility when something I was involved in goes wrong.

And here for instance when I see a theist make some statement about atheists that is factually incorrect I either say nothing or politely correct it. I don't take it personally and it really doesn't bother me because I assume they simply don't know or don't understand that the word is essentially religiously neutral. It's simply without theism.

And when a theist makes a statement about their belief why should I think anything about it? It's their belief. Like an opinion you can't say someone shouldn't believe whatever they like.

However I've very critical of those who claim to be atheist and yet seem to have no or a flawed concept of what atheist means. Some atheists here seem to think atheists are drunken fans of some sports team called The Atheists.

Honey, i'm so sorry on your loss. i understand that your little female is waiting for you in Heaven with our loving Savior, notwithstanding it truly is so confusing to undergo the grief of a loss like that. I favor I had an answer for you, yet i do not. All i can do is furnish you with my inner maximum sympathy and prayers. i have misplaced loved ones over the years, too, and the purely issues which have eased the grief are time and clinging onto Jesus' hand as He walks with you by using the valley of the shadow of lack of life. he's the guy who will be there for you, no be counted the position or once you ultimately end up overwhelmed. ultimately, most of the rawness of the discomfort will ease, even with the very undeniable reality that it's going to by no skill thoroughly bypass away in this international. the total healing will purely come at the same time as God wipes away our tears in Heaven, yet until eventually then all you may do is lean on the note, the affection of Jesus, and the help of your fellow believers. back, you've my love, sympathy, and prayers.

Very insightful, yes, I do find it difficult not to judge people. I try not to however, because I know what it's like to be judged.

I think the world would be a much better place if everyone would learn that they are not the judges, GOD is. I also think the world would be a better place if those who are judged would realize that the only judgement that matters is that of GOD's.

Thanks.

This is how I look at it...Sinners are sinners, and they do what sinners do... They sin. Christians are sanctified but not perfect. Sanctification is a progressive work that will not be complete until we make it to heaven. When we look at it in this way, it's a whole lot easier to let the Lord be Judge!!!

I find it hard to judge those that are ignorant of the word of God because they have never tried to learn the truth. They simply rely on what they have heard. Like Jesus said if the blind follow the blind they will both fall into the ditch. In the end they will know that God knew them from the begaining & because of their stuburnace & pride He has allowed them to have their way, they will have no excuse. I thank God for His tolerance & mercy.

I loved the poem! Good job! Yes, sometimes it's difficult not to judge..... but Jesus says we will be judged by the same measure we judge somebody else. That sorta puts a crimp in things doesn't it! Ha! Blessings

Matthew Chapter 7
I think it says don't think your self as spiritually
Superior .You are to judge many things.
The words of the bible are to be taken as a whole, not out of context.
What's the chapter mean?
