The above answerer is trying to sell some kind of pill, "lose weight without exercise" my A**. It can't be done buddy, unless you need to lose for a special occasion but then you'll put it right back on again. I think are looking for a quick fix when it comes to losing weight, making money, raising kids, looking young, you name it. We want it and we want it now, but without any effort on our part to undo what we have done to ourselves. It's part of the human condition, we are to be pitied for our shortcomings.

many people are want the quick fix. it amazes me that t.v. and internet ads feature people who've lost x amount of weight, however either these people (a) exercised while losing the weight or (b) put the weight back on because they didn't exercise. some weight loss plans do work but, eating healthy and exercising are a big part of the equation. i know several people that did the south beach diet and they did lose the weight but, some exercise and some didnt and those that didn't put the weight back on. there's no magic in any weight loss program only dedication and hard work will make someone not only lose the weight but, keep it off.

Well, people tend to be lazy, and have a generally easy life. Even wealthy people must exercise and eat well to keep fit but most people want to believe that isn't so. 99% of all weight lose questions can be answered with: "Do vigorous regular exercise and eat healthly"

But that's not what they want to hear they want a "secret" (hahaha) diet or a pill. I saw one answer that said: I have a great diet - you can lose 22 lbs in a week... but I couldn't do it - it was too hard for me.

I'd LMAO but it's too pathetic. How about questions asking what to eat to loose weight? Are people THAT stupid?

Everyone wants the "quick fix". We want to do whatever we want but have no consequences. No matter how many times you tell people, they'll keep hoping that the next fad diet or the next miracle pill will be "the one" that gives them quick effortless underwear model body in 90 minutes. If losing weight was that easy...we'd all be thin...good post

I totally agree. You have got to get up from the T.V. computer, get out of the cars, and get moving. A lot of time, people say they don't have the time to exercise. Well, you need to make the time. This is a serious, problem in America today.

Believe me, the rewards are so great.

Because people are too lazy in these days to do that. They want to be like the people everybody likes, and not have to work towards it.
