since this boy that ive become really close with in these past 2 years has gained my trust so much like no other and he tells me that he wont tell anyone the serects we had or what we even told one another, and he goes if u know me rly u wud know i wouldnt do anything without telling you first.
and says he wont because he doesnt wanna backstab me.
but then he goes and tells one of my best friends that i sed all this stuff about her when its not even true.
i have a reason to be mad rite?
isntt that messed up or am i wrong?
i deff. think i have a good reason not to trust him anymore, or even talk to him.

On the basis of all you have written, I would say without hesitation that you have every reason to feel betrayed and hurt. Trust is a very precious commodity and costs a lot to give and to earn. However, I want you to make sure of your facts before you take any action.You have been real close to this guy for two years during which you shared your individual confidences( you know his secrets as well as he knows yours) and he did not betray you.Then now he is supposed to have said something and not even the truth? I suggest that 1)you make sure he said what he is accused of having said2)that the person who told you that he said those things is telling the truth and is not just jealous of the closeness you both share3) that this same person doesn't want to break you and this guy up.4) ask yourself why he would do this after all this time;after all he knows you can reveal his own secrets, hence why would he risk that5)since you guys did not have any falling out and are still close, why will he want to take a chance of losing your friendship.If you get the answers to all of my questions and they prove that he is in fact guilty, then do not trust him again even if you can manage to remain friends.But if he is innocent, then you have not been tricked into losing a close friend.Jealousy can make people do stupid things especially if the person wants to get closer to you. So tread carefully and think first.

you have a very good reason to be upset but trust has to be eared and i think you give him too much benefit and now it has been shattered instead of blowing it out of whack try to talk to him and see if he can reason with you as to how you can work his out if he don't then that will tell you how much he really cares and if the relationship is worth saving or not people will run their mouth allot just to receive a good standing in the crowd they are in at that time talk to him by himself with no one around and he will be himself
