Yes, it can kill your cat. You need to make a police report of the threat now, so that if something does happen to your cat, the police will be aware of the situation with the neighbors. If your cat dies, take it to the vet to find out how it died. If it was something intentional, them go back to the police & report it.

Yes, a cat can die from eating crushed glass as the glass with cut the cats stomach lining and internal organs causing the cat to die from internal bleeding. You neighbour sounds like a nutcase, unless it was just an empty threat. Either way you don't want to take the chance. You didn't really give many details of the situation. I am assuming this started due to a previous arguement, not just your neighbour saying this instead of "Hello" one day. I think you should report this to the police. Your neighbour knowing the police have been informed may not try to harm your cat in the future.

Yes, you cat can die, or be seriously injured.
Well if he does, than you have this proof of the question you asked so the judge knows that this was a threat made before hand the cat was killed and you can just print this out and show that he made the threat. And when your vet makes a report on the cat, injured or deseased showing how and why it died.
You can sue for money both ways.
1-Fee of the cat, its your property, and he killed/destroyed it. Thats illegal.
2-Vet costs.
3-Los wadges from your boss if you had to take off work because of what happend to the cat.
I would have the neighbors address written down somewhere and file a police report. The cat is your property so it would be valid.

Don't be silly. What do think would happen to you if you ate a meatball with crushed glass in it? It is possible it could kill or seriously injure the animal. First keep the animal in doors and away from the neighbor next call the police and or the animal control division. Third if you think that's possible the animal might all ready have ate glass take it to the vet A.S.A.P. and use some common sense!

Yes they can.
I'd call the police and lodge a complaint against the neighbor. What the neighbor threatened is against the law for both human and animal safety.
Without a record that the threat was made, should anything happen to you or your pets you'd have less to go on pursuing justice against the neighbor's actions. Make the complaint and sign it, so the police are aware of what's going on.

Keep your cat indoors....call the police and file a report (hope you have proof of some sort...). It's called terrorist threats and the neighbor can be charged for this. At worst it's on record if something does happen.

Call the ASPCA or Animal control and see where to file the report. the police won't handle it based on heresay, you need some kind of proof. If you wanna give me his address I would be happy to go over and handle his sorry A$s! But seriously, keep your cat indoors and maybe call the cops to see what kind of action you can take otherwise. You shouldn't have to be harassed by your neighbors!

Yes, kitty can die from this.
Make a police report now so that any further problems can be documented and traced back to this original report. Keeping kitty inside is the only way to truly keep her safe, but your neighbor has a bit of a temper, so it sounds.
Best Wishes

I guess it really depends on how crushed the glass is. If the pieces are too jagged then there's a possibility that your cat's gastrointestinal tract (which includes the mouth, throat, stomach and intestines) could get injured and the cat might bleed internally. Poor cat! I hope you and your neighbor could compromise on something before your kitty gets hurt.

Keep your cat away from this person! Animal cruelty is a big deal in this country now, and besides being morally wrong it is very illegal. If your neighbor hurts or kills your cat definitely take him or her to court. My sister's neighbor killed one of her dogs and she took him to court. She only got the amount she paid for the dog but now the crime is on this guy's permanent record and if he ever hurts another animal he will do jail time.
