Does anyone, other than me, hate seeing the Cup drivers race in the Busch Series.. and always win? I love NASCAR and would like to see the Busch Series as a stepping stone for new Cup talent. I watched tonight's race and it was all Cup drivers. I know the Cup drivers put fans in the seats but the Busch races are not even close to being sold out. I would go to every race if it was just Busch racers.. Can we at Yahoo make a difference?

Absolutely. Years ago I was going to Busch races and see maybe 2 to 5 cup guys racing in it. Martin was the only driver that seemed like he enjoyed beating up weekend after weekend on the up and coming Busch drivers. Today it is like racing in the AMA Saturday is race #1 and Sunday is race#2. The new driver hasn't got a chance anymore and the new fans and NA$CAR are loving it. NA$CAR is raking in the green back from the mindless and the new fans get to see there star drive 2 times a week.

For your last question: No not here. These people love the idea and you will probably find out when you read how grown up acting they are.

The Busch (Nationwide) series has never been a stepping stone for up and coming drivers, except as a final exam to see how they stack up against the Cup drivers. The stepping stones are the NASCAR weekly and touring series'--ie NASCAR Grand National and Busch North--and ARCA. Busch just gives drivers more seat time, and owners a little more developmetal research.
David Reutimann announced yesterday that he will be driving full time in the Nationwide Series, as well as the Cup Series.
As long as there are drivers willing to do it, Cup drivers will never be shut out of the companion series.
Just a rhetorical question--What if they said "Okay, Cup drivers can't drive in the Nationwide series, but Nationwide drivers can't drive in the Cup series." Then what good would either series be?

We need some Cup drivers in the Busch series just to fill the line up and grand stands, and yes $$$$...But I think if you are a former Cup champion, and more than a one time Busch champion they should not allow them to race...But you can look at this another way also, these new up and coming drivers are racing with the best that they can race with...Its a hard call...Well with this being a friday night race....well I know where my two friends are back in charlotte, they are at their sons high school football game....but they will be at the race tomorrow night they are died hard race fans. Busch races rarely sell out anyway..

I love the cup drivers in Busch. It gives the future cup racers an idea of how good you have to be to move up. I have heard strictly Busch racers say they like running with the stars.

Everyone pays attention to who the top 5 finishing non cup racers are. The same with the points, the Busch racers can be compared by their point standings among themselves.

Without the cup stars the Busch series would die.

If it's that bad of a problem for you, then you shouldn't watch it. I thought it was great. Jimmie Johnson crashing himself was priceless. It's a shame he got Kenseth. And for Jeff Burton to come from the very back and win and not wreck in turn 4 once or even get banged up was no easy job on his part.
Cup drivers racing in Busch series sells the tickets.

Busch sequence is truly only a decrease league of NASCAR than Nextel Cup sequence. it truly is for drivers who've some skills, yet can't do nicely on the optimal factor. It also serves as some type of developmental sequence for youthful drivers. purely difficulty is it truly is invaded by using the wonderful drivers who also stress contained in the Nextel Cup sequence. overall, it truly is purely the flexibility factor that makes both sequence separate.
