Do you for one minute believe, that since I don't believe in your god, the belief in him has no effect on me or society? If you do, you are an idiot. Your god and his religion affect me every single day, because of the laws that Christian influence help to get passed. If, like the Amish, Christians could keep their views and beliefs to themselves, I and alot of others wouldn't have half the problem we do with Christianity. What really gets me, is that Christians do not have one single shred of evidence to support their claims. Yet, you and others feel you are morally superior and right to say how the rest of us should live our lives, based on nothing more than a false book that was written years ago. We are not interested in disproving your god's existence, but the belief in his existence. There is a huge difference between the two and if you were not a sheep and could think for yourself, you wouldn't have to ask this question.

I believe in war. It's happened often throughout history, and is actually currently going on now in Iraq. I can verify that this has happened.
God, however, is unverifiable, illogical hokey Shamanism with no place in today's modern world. A world, I may add, which has explained every natural phenomena it has come across. God, however, is a faulty premise, yet you push for it to be taught along side good science in schools, yet you push for your weak, and jaded view of morality be taught as though it were the only morality. And you push for your Christian, backward, hokey shamanistic beliefs to be made into laws that everyone, Christian or not, must adhere to. You try to prevent gay people from being together. You'd outlaw it and jail people for doing it if you could.
You people are sick, and you need to be stopped, and stood up to. That's what we're doing.

I believe that everyone has the right to freedom of speech. You and I both share that freedom. You may choose to spread the good news of the gospel, and I may choose to spread the good news that He doesn't exist. Instead of talking the talk, why not walk the walk. If you are leading a life of holiness, others will see that. They will notice how at peace you are and how you handle your troubles. When they ask you what's your secret, you can say "Jesus" or whatever your faith is. They can then take it or leave it. ~Blessings and Light~

Would you be more comfortable if we were renouncing the existence of beings we do believe exist?
In my book, that'd be irrational, but if it makes sense to you as a believer, I guess that would explain a lot.

Generally, people bash God out of jealousy. Sometimes it's ego or pride that gets hurt for them to bow down before Christ. They hate that christians are happy. Some christians have problems with anger and other issues, which is alright. I still don't see a reason to hate the religion, just dislike the person, they are what's wrong and why others hate this religion or the others.

Retaliation and self-defence. Because religion - especially Christianity in the West - constantly interferes in the lives of everyone, including non-believers', and including mine.
It seeks to restrict what I may do, say, read and watch, and when and where I may do it. It limits the progress of science and medicine; it teaches ludicrous fantasies to children as truth, and terrifies young, vulnerable and timid people with threats of hell.
Religion interferes in reproductive rights, trading, medicine, entertainment, law, politics, sexuality, international relations and humanitarian aid. And it starts wars and kills people. It needs to be stopped.

It's not the attack on God's existence; it the attack coming from some of his followers who want to force their religion on everyone else.

That has always been my point also.
Some said that they had to educate us. But yet when we try to educate them they cry that we are trying to convert them. Go figure.
But as I have said before, people who do not understand something or are afraid of it, tend to put it down or make fun of it.

it's amazing, you want to convince others that your god exists and in so doing, beat us over the head with your ignorance and arrogance, and you wonder why that could possibly bother us. does being that blind and dumb come naturally to you, or did you have to practice?
