When skinny Minnie goes shopping London,Paris or Rome with her mum she has to step carefully over the drains - missed her step last week and ended up having an unexpedted holiday over seas. She washed ashore in Hong Kong! (not all that funny but nor are jokes at the expense of fat people either!)

Everyone has insecurities, and it's the media's fault for falsely advertising that women should look like models and be stick thin, it's not true. I have struggled with my weight ever since I was about your age, now I'm 22 and I have lost most of that weight, and I am now pretty hot, even if I say so myself lol. Anyway, If you want to join them groups then go ahead. The only thing stopping you from doing it, is you. Once you start a club like basketball or soccer, you'll soon see the weight drop off you. Also, another weight loss tip, eat your last meal befor 6pm, this way you'll find it a lot easier to lose weight because you won't be snacking late night as much. As for confidence, try talking to people, even if it's a random stranger like an old lady/man, a stranger standing at the bus stop, someone in the street, maybe start off by saying "hi" to them or ask them the time deliberately, even if you know the time. It all helps to build confidence step by step. Also, another thing is that you're not alone. Millions of people suffer from the same mental barriers, just like you. You are not a strange or weird individual, and if you are, then so am I and plenty of others, because a ton of people have been through the same thing, whether it be confidence issues, low self esteem, weight problems, depression, anxiety etc. Hey, another sobering thought! Think about all the people losing their lives or having their homes and livelihood destroyed out in Japan, meanwhile we are all safe and have good health, even if you are not the perfect weight, you still have lots and lots to look forward too in the future. Just keep up the good work and stay strong, you're awesome! and you will lose all the weight soon enough, and you'll be beating everyone in all the sports you play! Good Luck, The Enigma.

That isn't funny because...well, it's just not a funny joke.
I can tell you...EVERYONE has a feature or trait that is the brunt of a joke. It's not JUST overweight people, or thin people...blondes...Polish people...it's everyone. There are mean jokes that are just tasteless, but I'm blonde, and there are some HYSTERICAL blonde jokes out there.

reason you don't hear skinny jokes is because there not funny stick with the classic fat jokes like your mamas so fat you have to grease the door jamb and hold a twinkie on the other side to get her through
