My cousin and I were driving on a road, that has very tight turns. I spun out and ended up hitting the guardrail with the side of my car. We are both fine, but my parents will freak out. How should I tell them about it?

Start out with you are dying of cancer and then when they are crying for you end with with "Naw I just wrecked the car", that will keep things in perspective.

There is no good way other than right away, don't wait around or they will be even more angry. Go straight home and tell them. Offer to pay for the damages any way you can think of. Be sincere in your apology. Now, learn your lesson and don't drive too fast on roads that are unfamiliar or have tight turns. You never know what is coming at you around the next turn, another car in your lane, an animal, a person, you never know. Take it easy out there. And thank your lucky stars that you are okay.

tell them there is something you need to show them. then take them out to the car and tell them what happened. offer to pay for it,or doing extra chores.tell them that you will accept any thing they say about it,like losing your right to drive for awhile, or what ever they decide. good luck.

i believe the best way to solve the problem is to tell your parents rthe truth about the car. because if you don't, there's going to be consequences like them finding out you dent it . then they'll get that intention not to trust you again because you were dishonest.
