Like every other jew at the time he was fighting for the liberation of his country from the Roman occupation. He probably also killed roman soldiers and was condemned as a result; what his followers wrote about him was not true.
So the question is if we can find any parallels between 2000 years ago and now.

Parallels?
Yes.
You have twisted His story just like the Earliest believers did 2000 years ago. Paul set them straight in the letters to the Corinthians, the Romans, the galatians, the Ephesians, The Colossians, the Phillipians, etc and then John set the seven churches in Asia Minor straight in the seven letters to the churches in The Revelation.

My Bible has no accounts of Jesus killing Roman soldiers in fact he healed the ear of one who arrested him in the garden... He may have been the cause of soldier killing soldier by dividing the masses. I don't know. The OT is filled with war and battle. Acres of blood. Stinking for years. Horrific. Jesus was of sorts, a freedom fighter. A crusader of truth. Self examination. He liberated women who were considered below a cow in the day. Something today's society in many countries does not recognize.

Wow, I don't know where you got your facts, but they are wrong. But to answer your question, I believe that Jesus was a freedom fighter in some sense of the word. He came to save our souls from sin and death. He fought the Devil. He was also fighting to free women from the men who instead of loving and protecting the gift that was given to them as a helper, they treated as a slave and a piece of property. Jesus did more for the women's revolution than any one else to date. He also wanted people to live freely, with out being controlled by their governments, but he did tell the people to and I quote"Give to Cesar what is Cesar's and Give to God what is God's" Jesus did not get involved in over throwing governments. He was peaceful in that way. But he tried to lead by example, and using his wisdom to out wit the rulers. The things that were recorded about Jesus were true. There are archeology finds that back up the Bible over and over again. There are none so blind as those who will not see.

He was a freedom fighter in a way, but not in a human view. He was not sent to earth to judge it but to save it. You are wrong about Him killing people because of what He believed. He healed people and gave hope to the hopeless. He was not a violent man because He was perfect in every way. He was condemned because the world did not understand Him. They also feared Him because of what He can do or will do. He could not kill anyone because He loved them even though they fell short everyday. True definition of love: 'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast, it is not proud. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres.

One mans freedom fighting revolutionary is another mans terrorist rebel.
The victors get to write the history. At first that appeared to be the Romans but in the long run....

He was the Manifestation of God for that time
far above the mere goals of a mere freedom fighter

he fought to establish his kingdom on earth but his people let him down and forsook him when he needed them, he was fighting many fronts, the devil, the rabbis, the scribes and the Pharisees as well as providing for the indigenous people of Israel.

in modern time he would have been locked up in Guantanamo for causing an uprising

It's history repeating itself my friend. There are fools out there that think the current person in the White house is the Messiah.

Remember "GOD IS ON OUR SIDE!"

LOL!
