No, if you are not breaking any laws, he can not arrest you. The last time I checked, holding hands is not a crime. If the officer is not acting appropriately, I would contact the school principal. The officer is a liaison between the school and his supervisors. If you bring the problems to the attention of the principal, he can watch what is going on and can report this inappropriate behavior to his supervisors for disciplinary action.

No......... you can not be put in jail or be in any other trouble for walking with your girl friend.
If you think you or your girl friend are being singled out for any thing, go to your principal.
All School Resource Officers work at the discretion of the School Board. If you actually have a complaint, believe me they will investigate it and come to a positive resolution.
I am all about fair and professional law enforcement. I respect my position in the job and want all of my peers to live by the high standards I have set for myself.
That said... just be sure you actually have a valid complaint and that you are not just angry for some other unrelated issue you are not voicing here. Because, you cry wolf one time with a false accusation and you will never be taken seriously again.

If he is really being crude, get a buddy with a digital camera that can do some video w/ sound and get him/her to video tape this. Make copies and bring it to the principal, your parents, the *actual* police (this guy has a boss) and any other adult who will listen. The girls in your school deserve some respect. And no, walking with another person is not a crime.

YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO BE FREE FROM INTIMIDATION.
HE HAS A RIGHT TO ENFORCE SCHOOL POLICY AND PROCEDURES?
I CANNOT SECOND GUESS HIS PLAY.
YOU HAVE NOT OUTLINED YOUR SCHOOLS POLICY ON WALKING IN HALLWAYS HAND AND HAND??
I AGREE HE MAY BE A FLIRT BUT HE IS IN UNIFORM AND SHOULD ACT AS A PROFESSIONAL. (ETHICS)
MOST HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS ARE 17 AND UNDER. MOST POLICE ARE 21 AND OVER.(SAN QUENTIN QUAIL)
HE IS BORDERLINE ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT IF A GIRL REPORTS HIS FLIRTING AS SEXUAL OR ENDANGERING, ENTICING A MINOR, ABUSE OF AUTHORITY.
HE CAN BE REPORTED TO THE CHIEF, COUNSEL OR SCHOOL BOARD.
BUT HE CAN ALWAYS SAY HE WAS JUST BEING FRIENDLY BECAUSE ALL POLICE ARE NEVER SEEN SMILING, THEY ARE ACCORDING TO THIS SITE BY SOME ASSHOLES, SO WAS JUST DOING A LITTLE POSITIVE PR???

I think he's trying so "scare" you. I'm not sure what he is going to arrest you for...then again, I don't know what "bucks" on her means? To be honest with you, when I was in school, I was "yelled at" for WALKING too close to my girlfriend...its nothing against you brother, I think hes just preventing unnecessary touching.....maybe try to schedule a meeting with him...just you and him, and tell him how you feel...if he still acts like a jerk, then go to the principal....our school resource Officers are supposed to be sensitive to the kids' needs as well as uphold school policies and laws.

Well, darlin', he should put you in jail for your grammar and lack of writing skills, but as he's a school cop, NO! He cannot put you in jail for walking with or even conducting public displays of affection w/ your girlfriend. And when he tells you he will put you in jail, ask him, "For what, loving someone?"

"The police now have the legal power to confiscate anything and everything that you own. Without trial, conviction, or even indictment, police are seizing cars, bank accounts, homes, and businesses from at least 5,000 innocent Americans every week. If you resist a police confiscation, they can even cripple or kill you with impunity."
