You are still invited... so it doesn't matter. You like her and pay attention to what she likes so get something you know only she could appreciate. Write her a note with the present telling her why you got her that specific present and you hope she likes it. And try to enjoy yourself at the party regardless of the crowd you will have to endure.
So she didn't respond to you text. she could be ignoring you but she would still probably be looking for you if you didn't show at the party, so just go and make the best of it.

You should go because you are Her Friend. Your friend doesn't have to like the people who attend. You are not always going to like everyone wherever you go. It is up to you to be professional and polite, no matter what. She may not be answering you because she may not have her phone with her at that moment.
Personally, I would have called and asked what she would like for you to bring. You can get her a gift certificate or something you know she likes, like some CD of music you know she listens to, or a journal, or flowers, or something like that. You don't sound like you really know her that well. Go as her friend. Enjoy the party and don't let others dictate where you should not go because they don't like people who will be there. Have fun. Have an open mind. Mingle. People are not perfect and people make mistakes. Give them a chance to be friends too.

You were invited so she will probably expect you to be there,or she would have called and uninvited you.Sometimes you have to be careful about what you say about other people.(it comes back and bites you in the butt)Take her a gift card for her Birthday or a CD if you know what kind of music she likes.Have fun at the party mabe you will meet someone special there besides her.

go out of respect for her and tell her that you are not your friend's slave. You are not responsible for what he says. Make up your mind after you go and then decide what to do. You were invited to her party and it is right to go. As a gift, give her a card and a certificate to somewhere. that works best.

call her, no offence but stop being so scared and call her, or go to her house or talk to her at school i mean if she is mad, she needs to tell you if she is or not, your shouldnt be the one digging everywhere to try and find out. If you really want to go to the party, go. You would be surprised to find you'll probably have a blast.

Go to the party and ignore her friends. If they try to talk to you don't be a snob...talk to them a little and act like you have to go really quickly to do something.
Good Luck!

I dunno, but go anyway. You may absolutely hate it with all those people you don't like, or you may discover they're not so bad after all. Then you can really argue with your friend.
