You have to do cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min
15min is not enough. the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat. but dont go over 60min.
you also have to do light weight training a few times a week - the more muscle you have the faster metabolism (more calories your body will burn during the day)
and diet is 80% of weight loss - eat small frequent meals (5-6 a day), drink lots of water, eat plenty of fresh fruit and veggies, complex carbs, lean protein, healthy fats.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

It's very simple. It's calories and exercise. Whatever you are putting into the body is slowing/stopping the weight loss. You can never work hard enough aerobically to make it count for calories -- an hour of aerobic exercise might loose you 50 calories, maybe 80. One hamburger has over 300.
Look at what you eat and drink and that is where your answer is. You cannot spot loose fat - but the good news is the last fat on the body is the first fat burned off. Good luck!

You are doing a wonderful thing by jogging 2miles on alternate days. Start doing crunches and some weights on those days U dont jog. After a few weeks, you can increase jogging to 30 mins on alternate days. At the same time, watch your food intake and drink plenty of water -- avoiding sodas.

My husband is taking Pilates classes and is now flat as a board. Pilates works your core muscles. Strength training, sit ups, and diet are all part of losing the fat there.
That area is the hardest part to lose fat.
"Myth #3 Abdominal crunches will help me flatten my stomach.
Contrary to what many infomercials preach to us, spot reduction in any region of the body does not work. Abdominal crunches are a great way to increase local muscular endurance but they will not flatten your stomach when done alone. In order to flatten your stomach you must lose fat in the abdominal region. This is done through a combination of cardiovascular training, strength training, and proper nutrition"
"So what can we do about tubby tummies? A lot, it turns out. The starting point for bringing weight under control, in general, and combating abdominal fat, in particular, is regular moderate-intensity physical activity — at least 30 minutes per day (and perhaps up to 60 minutes per day) to control weight. Strength training (exercising with weights) may also help fight abdominal fat. Spot exercising, such as doing sit-ups, can tighten abdominal muscles, but it won’t get at visceral fat.
Diet is also important. Pay attention to portion size, and emphasize complex carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) and lean protein over simple carbohydrates such as white bread, refined-grain pasta, and sugary drinks. Replacing saturated fats and trans fats with polyunsaturated fats can also help."

cardio and diet.. stomach fat is tough to lose.. try taking your jogs up to 30-45 minutes.. 3-4 times a week.. you need to go longer to burn more of your fat stores.. continue to eat a clean diet, but dont starve yourself.. if you do, you will slow your metabolism down, making fat loss harder than it already is. just eat smart.. low sugar, low fat, healthy diet.. you can also train abs and obliques to help tone and condition. 3 times a week, situps, crunches, bicycles, leg lifts are the 4 exercises i like to use. i do 3 sets of 2 exercises each work out and switch it up every time so i dont get bored.

OMG AH! I had the same problem with me. I'm like on a diet, but I still have like a lot of fat. But I was fatter beofre. LOL, sorry, so anyways, there's like this diet I've been on:
Breakfast:
~1/2 slice of wheat bread with smooth peanut butter and sliced bananas on top (but since your probably older than me-you can have a whole slice of bread)
~Small cup of skim or 1% milk.
Lunch: (at school)
~1 cup of AXELROD yogurt (the ones that are only 90 cal. each)
~1 CHEWY granola bar (90 calories)
~1 bottle of WATER (never juice)
Snack:(after school)
~Apple?
Dinner:
~At dinner time, screw the diet, you had like only 500 calories today!
Your daily intake of calories should be a maximum of 1500-2000 calories per day if your on those light diets I guess. Well, if my advice doesn't work, then sorry, b-cuz personally, I might be fatter than you. Just NEVER eat lunchables (some older ppl eat lunchables sometimes). If you look at the Nutrition Facts of LUNCHABLES, WOW it's like one of those things that a 200 lb. person would eat...no offence.

Stomach fat is the hardest thing to lose. It takes the longest as well. Cardio helps but dieting really helps. This is what will help you out the most.

Doing crunches helps a lot. To get flat abs, do crunches, but don't go all the way up. All you need to get of the ground are your shoulder blades, because it makes your abs work a lot.
