I am an 11 year old girl that goes to a normal Elementary school. I have a feeling my gym teacher is a perv. I've got two explinations and I want to tell somebody but who? The principal is a guy, and I don't know if any of the teachers would listen to me and my friends. But, here's the proof:
1. Last year he made the girls do push-ups and was looking down a specific girls shirt (she had "big ones"). The girl and her friends found out about it, so now the girls have to bite the neck of their shirt so he wont look down them.
2. In a recent gym class, he made all the girls do jump roping and the boys play volleyball. I was wearing a lowcut shirt that day, so he was looking at me. I saw him and I quickly got my sweatshirt and zipped it up. Then he stopped and looked at another girl.
Is this bad? Who should I consult?? I'm really worried and I want him TO GO! The poor girls like me shouldnt have to go through this!!!

why haven't your parents taken this into there own hands and done something awhile ago! If it was my daughter i would be in that school faster then you could finish telling me anything else.. Your parents need to step up with you-and talk to the principle- then the school district- and police honey..
Don't wait any longer....
Good Luck!

First start by getting the girls together. By getting all the witnesses and victims together, you will have more credit to your statements. It's really sad, but if you are the only person who goes forward, then chances are likely that you won't be taken as seriously, than if you have a number of girls supporting your statements with what they have witnessed.
Next, go to your parents and get all the other girls to speak with their parents as well. I know it seems like a touchy topic to be talking to your parents about, but they are your best advocates. And, if all the girls are accompanied by their parents when they approach the principal, again, there's more credibility - and important for you - SUPPORT!
If the principal does not take the type of action that you expect, move up the chain of command and speak with the local school board. Finally, if the school board ignores your statements, go to the police and/or the media.
I want to warn you, that it's possible that you will run into a lot of "CYA" - covering your (behind) syndrome. I'm not saying that it WILL happen, but that's why you want to have supporting witnesses and the support of parents/adults. This is a serious issue.
Don't for a second think that because you are 11 years old that what is happening to you is your fault or something that you made up. When I was going to high school a teacher was pulling this kind of nonesence, but unfortunately the girls were not taken seriously.

You don't really have proof that he's a pervert- you just have situations in which you and your friends felt uncomfortable. That's certainly a legitimate reason to speak with the school counselor and/or principal about it. Just let them know what happened and that you got a weird vibe from him. From there it's their responsibility to look into the situation further.
In my opinion, however, 11 year old girls should be wearing bras and should NOT be wearing low-cut shirts. There's a very good chance that he was looking in the same way you can't help but look at a plumber's butt crack when he's working on your sink- you don't want to look, but somehow you can't turn away because it's so disgusting. Maybe your female teachers notice the inappropriate ways in which you and your friends dress as well, but you don't notice them looking because they're not men. I'm not trying to take away from how you feel, because there's always the chance that he really is pervy. Please do tell the counselor or principal.

does you school have counslors???? Mine had the best and I would have told them anything.... Try them they may know what to do. If your parents know about and are supporting you telling then have them come with makes it more official I would think the person you talked to would have to take more notice. It would be helpful if you could get a few more complaints about the gym teacher. How did he look down a girls shirt when she was doing push-ups??? That's kinda hard I would think. Not saying I don't believe you just want you to know what someone would say to your explanations

Have you tried ignoring the behavior? And keep disciplining her, it may take 200 times but she has to see that her actions will always result in these consequences. She will also have to learn to live in society one day and society won't stand for this stuff for very long. And I agree, if she is seeing a counselor how come you're not being included in her treatment plan? Is this a REAL counselor?

Can you talk to your parents about it? Before you go to the principal or someone in charge at your school you really should involve your parents or a guardian so that you have them on your side. Then together you should make an appt to talk to the principal so that he knows what's going on.

I don't get why Gym teachers do that. My hubby is a PE teacher, and that has never happened in the history of the school he teaches at. Talk to the principal, teacher, or counselors

Ahahaha, this happened to me last year. Everyone reported the math teacher, yet the administration found excuse after excuse to make up for it. He was gone the next year, though, so perhaps fired.
Talk to the principal about it or the teachers......regardless their sex/

Report the perv before he does something sexually harassing to a student. And then go watch the movie, Mr. Woodcock.
