I'm 14 years old, and I want to start babysitting to earn money but I have no experience at all. I've babysat for my 5 year old cousin once but it wasn't for that long. If I'm going to make flyers, what should I put in them? and do I need experience to start babysitting?

Well, as for experience, as long as you are fairly good with children and are prepared, you should be fine!!! For flyers, include that you're responsible and that you love children!!! That should help!!! And include activities that you plan to do with the kids, like board games you have or something like having all the disney movies, even if you don't!!! You can always rent them!!! hope this helped!!!! and good luck!!!

experience would be good. Try babysitting your little cousins or someone you know the parents really well. Parents aren't just going to leave their children with anyone and especially someone that doesn't have any experience. At least I wouldn't. children require alot of attention and they can be a handful. If you can find someone that will let you babysit their child start out small, One child not 2 or 3, Kids can be overwhelming.

i started babysitting at that age to.
expept i help at this daycare were i use to go to. the lady gave me a job there.
and that is how i got experiance.
but you should definalty get some experiance first take some cpr/himlac classes u never know what those kids put in there mouths.
after taking some classes or getting experiance from babysitting friends' kids or ur family members. then u could write ont he flyers about your experiance.
and if not ..then....ASK UR PARENTS FOR MONEY :]

You really need some experience when watching children. You need to know CPR in case something happens,Mabe your mom can be there when you babysit to help you know what to do,As it is not always an easy thing to do sometimes. This will give you some idea of what to expect with your mom's help.Give it a try if she is willing and the parents you are babysitting for will be more willing to leave their child.I'm sure you will do a great job,but start out right with help at first.

One : If you have no experience..dont take care of random peoples kids, it may turn out disasterous. Try a babysitting course first.
Two : Flyers is an O.K. way to get clients, but word of mouth is much better, if people hear from others that you are good then people will trust you more. Ask your aunt to tell her friends about you!

There are free classes at hospitals and red cross and other places that offer training in CPR and first aid.. If you have this you are more likely to be hired. The classes last about 3 days to a week I would go take them that way you are always prepared to save a life whether its the child's you are babysitting or someone else.

First thing to do is to take a babysitter's class, they have them usually at the community colleges. Classes like this will teach you ways of entertaining children with games and creative play, coping with problems you may have such as bedtime, and even nutrition. The problems sitters can have come from having bored child/ren, and when they are bored, they are prone to giving you problems by misbehaving. Then take a first aide class and CPR class. Having these as qualifications will give you an edge over babysitters who do not have this qualifications, and it looks great to parents who are looking for a qualified babysitter. All sitters need to know first aid and CPR because sometimes emergencies come up that you will need to know how to take care of. I become a professional because I always loved children and was a babysitter when I was a teen. Good luck with your babysitting. ****Sparkles**** professional nanny

im 14 years old and im babysitting my sisters right now.. i guess i shouldnt be on the computer but they're sleeping anyway.

yeah if you're going to babysit kids you dont really know i would say you would need experience so their parents would trust you more. and instead of making fliers maybe you could start by telling your parents' friends if they ever need a babysitter you're there..

but if you do want to make fliers.. the information you should put is your first name [and only your first name so you dont pick up any stalkers or anything] and your number and what you're charging.

try babysitting for relatives first, attend babysitting training at the american red cross, while your at it, take first aid and child/infant cpr. When you go to make a flyer you can then add that you are certified in cpr and first aid and that you have references. i would want to make sure that the babysitter watching after my children was a responsible person that stays out of trouble and knows what to do in case of emergency. good luck and i commend you for wanting to earn your money at such a young age.

My daughter is 13 and I made her get certified in infant and adult cpr. That should be your first thing you do. Also take a baby-sitting class and read books. Then I would only try sitting for a short period of time to get started and don't start out with a baby. The local YMCA usually offers CPR and babysitting classes.
