Hi,
I was wondering when can I get a pedicure? I'm so used to getting pedicures every week, but since getting my foot tattoo I haven't gotten my pedicures for 3 weeks now and I'm dying to get one. I have not soaked my foot in water for 3 weeks. I clean it 3 times a day. All the scabbing and healing is done. I want to go get a pedicure before going back for my touchup so do you think I can go get a pedicure this week or should I wait until after 5 weeks? THANKS!

is the texture of the tattoo the same as the texture of the surrounding skin? if it is i would say that it is probably okay to get the pedicure. if you are concerned you could ask them to use an uncented lotion instead of whatever else they may be using.

I agree with the poster above me about how if the tattooed skin is the same as the rest it is ok.

My roommate and I get monthly pedicures and dying to go get ours but both got our feet inked a couple weeks ago so we're in the same boat. She's ready, mine is still healing. *sigh*

It should be fine to get it. I have one on my foot. I waited about a month. Just don't let them scrub the tat. Unless your skin holds color well, typically the feet and hands shed the most skin, therefore sometimes tattoos fade easily.
