So i met a girl from a dating site.
The vibe was kind of weird. She said on her profile that she can be shy/serious at first so maybe im wrong but, my initial read of her vibe was bad.
She didn't seem very talkative on the date, and i was definitely the driver of the conversation. But when i did get her talking, she made good eye contact and seemed interested. The only weird moments were during silence and she tended to stare down at the table.
At the end of the date I asked her if she wanted to go out again and she said "yes, definitely" and i was very surprised by this.
Do you think she means it?

okay...if im not interested in date #2, i say so. most chicks wouldn't encourage you to ask her out again if they aren't interested. ask away!

like she said yes, definetely. I am actually the same way to be honest with you i often act that way around a guy im just starting to date. It doesnt mean im not interested im actally just shy. i get nervous and look around. What i do sometimes too is hang on to the door handle of the car lol some guys have thought i was trying to run away but thats not the case. I say from personal experience to believe her and if shes anything like me she'll open up in no time

Maybe she's just quiet, dude. Or she didnt wanna talk so she wouldn't seem TOO talkitive lol. Most girls want the guys to start the talking to show their interest.. And its the first date, give her another chance ... or 2, and then decide. If you really like her, that is.

She may be shy, or maybe she's an axe-murder?? If you get a weird vibe on the first date its a good hint to stay away.

If she said "yes definitely" then she meant it. If she said "maybe" then I would question. Odds are that she's had troubled relationships in the past and she isn't used to being treated respectfully. Keep being a nice guy and you'll get her to come around.

Whenever I go out with someone, I am afraid of talking too much. It's natural, girls talk a lot and most guys don't like the "BLAH BLAH BLAH" Maybe she is usually annoying and doesn't want to run you off.

Yeah, but hey, do trust your gut here. If it felt like she was shy, that's one thing but if it felt "weird" or she seemed "off" - RUN. You could be telling yourself that you sensed more than you can really see at the moment. Always trust the little voice that says "Don't".

I would think she means it. This was your first meeting, she had told you before that she was shy. Let her get used to you, it might work out.

She probably is shy or self-conscious. Make her feel comfortable and she will open up.
