Has anyone had any good results going to an oxygen bar? The massage chair and relaxing music were nice but I couldn't wait for the 20 minute treatment to be over. The oxygen hurt my nose and it was red and irritated the next day. I didn't feel "rejuvenated" or "energized" and basically just wasted $20 bucks to get a chapped nose. Is there anyone out there that actually enjoys going to oxygen bars? Whats so great about them? I just don't get it.

Sounds as though you might have some sort of allergy to pure oxygen. Since the air that you breath is only 20% Oxygen, you don't really notice it. Another possibility is that the nose piece you were using could not have been that sterile. I'd be careful and just save the $20 bucks.

Well since I am a fish and live and breath under water. The idea of an oxygen bar sounds absolutely painful. Its not wonder you had a bad experience. Are you a fish too?

The oxygen shouldn't do that. Sounds like you had a used or dirty nose piece or mask.

I went to one once in Virginia Beach, it was flavored air, which was pretty fun. Other than that, I didn't really notice anything different, except a slight feeling of dizziness (I took very deep breaths) then, I went and smoked a cig. ;P
