I dump about a half pound of dark brown sugar on it. Helps to kill the bland oatmeal paste taste and really gets me going.

Try blueberries. Or, stir in a teaspoon of peanut butter (and a bit of sugar.) Yum!

first of all, don't use the instant..........way too much sodium.
i cook mine withhalf apple juice and half water. i add chopped apples, cinnamon and raisins. the raisins usually sweeten it enough for me. for my husband, i add a little splenda. i'm counting points, so if i can afford the calories, i add roasted, chopped almonds.
