As little as one, if you've got the correct amount for the weight of the letter. It's not the number of stamps, it's the rate, and I'm sure Canada, like the US, has a single stamp for the basic one ounce letter.

I just bought 2 books of Can.stamps and there is no money valu on them so if you put one Can,stamp on a letter it probley would make it.Iv'e put those stamps you get with junk mail for mags.on letters and thev'e gone through.I know someone who cuts canceled stamps off mail tapes them to letters and they make it.So if you drew a happy face in the corner ? who knows.Iv'e also sent mail from Hawaii with Can.stamps.

Yes. you can do that. Probably cost about about $1 in stamps to send

For standard letter-post (envelopes, cards and postcards) - 0 to 30 grams : 0.93 dollars; 30 to 50 grams : 1.10 dollars.
Non-standard and oversize lettrers : between 1.85 and 6.20 dollars.

40 cents--the Canadian dollar is stronger-so the planes go faster. ( or is that we Canucks are getting ripped off right-left-and-centre?)
