Help me. Overdose on cough syrup?

Can you die from drinking a half a bottle of cough syrup? I did, being stupid and not thinking.

Or will it just make me sick?

You should be OK. I would expect you to be sleepy, have a dry mouth, and most likely a fast heart rate, but if you are healthy otherwise, these side effects should be gone in a few hours.
Please be careful in the future.
