i run xc and play basketball and i have HUGE legs!
but it is all muscle
how do i make my legs and butt have smaller muscles without giving up my sports?

Genetics plays a big role here in our body makeup. In other words, when you picked your parents you became predisposed to having big muscular legs. Don't fret over it, runners don't care.

Longer slower distance running might give them the appearance of leaner and thinner, but only to a point. Again, don't fret. There's always something about ourselves we'd like tochange.

If you continue to exercise and play sports your legs are not going to get smaller.
You have lean legs now. Lean means muscular without fat.

Different people have different types of muscles. If you run distance and have huge legs that is what you are going to have.

I'm sorry, but you can't. Some people are just born to have big, strong legs. And that's good :)

I bet you get great mile times with those!!! lol : )
