Are there many people that could suit you in the world, and you just have to pick one you like (kinda like shopping), or do you believe there is one soul mate or person you are meant to be with and it will unfold in the right timing? What are your views?

There are many people who can suit you because you are always evolving, however, I believe in finding the "One" and have been blessed twice in my life in doing so. I loved my "ONE" more than 4 years and 30 days after he proposed, he died in a freak accident. It has taken me 9 years to heal but never once did I believe that he would be it for me.....I was still alive. I have been twice blessed with another man and those same sensations I felt before that lead me to believe I'd found the "ONE"are here again only more intense because I now know how precious that time can be. Stay in the fight and love with your whole heart...unafraid....you'll know it when you do and nothing, not even your own doubts will stop you from having the greatest love of you life....GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

I would say that using Drake's Law is a better idea than waiting.

Drake's Law originated from SETI research (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence), and it states the probability of finding an alien civilization as being approximately 3 per galaxy,
based on the probability of finding stars of the right type, planets of the right type, planets in the right orbit, etc...

Consider applying Drake's Law to the search for your soul mate. There are 6 billion people in the world. Half of them are female, and half of the females are about your age. Half of those are already married. Half of those remaining may already be single parents. Perhaps one in ten have the same overall religious values as you. Perhaps one in one hundred come from the same country as you. Perhaps one in twenty have the same level of intelligence as you... And so on...

I would say that according to Drake's Law as applied to the female population of this world, there are likely to be 1000 women who would fit your description of your dream girl. Armed with this information, you can likely find venues where the probability is high that you would find that girl there.

Good Luck!

I believe that everyone has a soul mate that there is one perfect person waiting to be found and that perfect person was made just for you but you have to fish around abit.

Not sure its everybody, but it happened for me. After all these years, it would be hard for me to consider being with anyone else.

There's probably more than one person for everyone in reality but my standards are awfully high now. If something happened to by husband, I think I'd have a hard time getting serious about someone else.

Typically, there are MANY people that would suit a given individual.

Very most likely, the person that's most ideal for you lives far away from you and you'll never meet them.

The person eventually becomes The One.

I believe that when you meet "the one" you just know... That person and you have such a strong connection it's impossible to deny and the love is so pure. I found my "one" and I wasn't even looking, after years of dating and some heart-breaks... He just came along and I found my happy ending.

some people have one person who they are destined to be with, others have 2 or 3 people in their lifetimes. i think it depends on the way you live your life

i do believe there is one person out there i am suppose to be with and hopefully THE ONE will come along at some stage, its all about waiting for him......good things come to those who wait! :)
