When they can tell you or let you know that they need to use the potty.You can introduce the idea earlier than that if you wish..(by getting a potty for them,maybe a potty video)Something that may help to encourage them to tell you when they are ready to try.

Depends. The sooner you start, the sooner it will happen. My mom had me trained by the age of ONE. No joke. People do it later and later these days, mostly based a lot of psychology that has long since been debunked. That said, every child won't learn at the same rate. It ultimately depends on the individual child. That said, the sooner you start, the sooner you'll have them out of the diapers. My mom had five children, and the LATEST one to start using the potty was two. My mom laughs at parents whose kids are three and four and still not trained. She saved a lot on diapers!

this is what my pediatrician told me;
there are three things to look for: is the child staying dry through the night? (if they are then they can control the urge to pee so that they don't lay in a wet diaper all night.) does the child have the vocabulary for it? (can they tell you when they have to use the potty?) and does the child show any interest in the potty?
my daughter is almost two and shows interest, has the vocabulary but wets at night still. so we're starting to sit her on the potty and putting pull-ups on her during the day. in my experience, is a child is FORCED or made to feel bad when they go in their diaper, it just takes longer.

Age 2 is the average age, I have a boy and a girl and both were trained at 2, but it's hard work stick with it, that's why it's called "training"

It depends, with little boys who tend to be easier then girls sometimes i would say around 2 but my niece was potty trained just after she turned 3. it depends on the child and if you think they are ready. if they are ripping diapers off by themselves they are probably ready.

Start talking about it as soon as you care to. This is potty training conditioning. If before you expect them to DO ANYTHING talk about how you yourself go pee in the pot and how every one around them does. that way they don't feel shocked when you suddenly are demanding them to "grow up". : )

There is no particular time. Watch for the signs and start then.
* Staying dry longer and while napping
* Taking interest in the toilet
* (My son did this) Insisting on not wearing a diaper.
I was clean by three, my son was clean by 21 months.

I think about 2.5 or 3. It depends on the baby.

It is individual to every child. Watch for them to show signs they are ready.
