There was an Indian chief, I can't find it again,I am still looking. He was talking about religion. Asked the missionaries, since there were so many differences in the two cultures.
From language, skin color, eyes, ect ect. Why was it not posible for GOD "the creator" to give knowledge to each ones understanding. Being Christian and also part Indian (native) Cherokee on one side and from the Blackfeet on the other. Not to mention the rest of the "melting pot." This has been on my mind off and on over the years. My family actually got here as "indentured servants" SLAVES actually from Wales and landed in Charlestown. Thanks for your answers.

No I don't think they are hell bound or in hell, and I am a Christian. The Bible said this about the Gentiles that had not heard the law.. That were ignorant of the word.
For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; 13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them
Now if the Gentiles had the word in their heart, and the First Nation peoples did also this is as real for them as the Gentiles, for God is no respecter of persons.

I am a Native American Indian. I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe I am connected to all things - Man and nature. There is one Great Spirit - the Holy Spirit, and there is but one creator - God. I am not qualified to comment/speculate on whether or not these folks are "hell bound." That's the Lord's job.

Then perhaps they discovered God too. Since no one but God can pass judgment, I can't say if they go to hell or not. The 'Great Spirit' sounds an awful lot like the Judeo-Christian God to me (but I'll admit I haven't done exhaustive research). I've heard of an Incan(?) emperor who wrote things much like David's Psalms, so maybe God revealed himself to other cultures, but just didn't stick in the same manner.

In scripture the actual word for hell is "sheol" which meant the grave. The Bible says the dead "know nothing".
The fiery hell is a concoction of misinterpretations mainly based on greco-roman mythology.
In reference to non-Christians being saved, there will be many Atheists, Moslums, Pagans and other non-Christians in Heaven.
When the Bible says that people can only be saved through Christ, it does not mean they have to even know him or of him, but that his act of giving his life for us saved them.

James 3:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe and tremble." There is a lot more required to get into heaven than just believing in one God.

it may likely bypass on as long as we people. even with the very undeniable reality that I evaluate myself a Christian i'm particular maximum different Christians would not. i do not trust that Jesus changed into divine. I do trust that he has given us many fantastic humanists preparation as did many different of the comprehensive religious leaders of all cultures. i'm not particular about God's existence. so a tactics as existence after lack of life i don't believe of so yet desire that i'm incorrect. i bypass to a Christian church because a large number of the folk there share a lot of my beliefs and are sturdy people attempting to stay a sturdy existence and they do a large number of form works like operating in soup kitchens for one party. i trust if Jesus were alive as we talk he could likely be seen a thorough and prefer Martin Luther King be assassinated. those are purely my beliefs and that i do not favor to stress them on all of us else. yet please be tolerant of my beliefs because no be counted how a lot i could disagree with you i'd be respectful of yours. This is going for religious human beings and Atheists.

You know...I sometimes wonder what happened to ALL the people who have not heard of Christianity after it was created...the Aztecs, the other Native Americans, the Japanese, the Chinese, etc...do they go to Hell too, since they haven't even HEARD your "message" yet? If so...that sounds pretty harsh, don't you agree?

*** rs p. 405 par. 1 Trinity ***
The New Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord’ (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.”—(1976), Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126.

God is merciful, He made the rules. He knows there is a vast difference in those who do not know, those who can't understand and those who willfully reject.
