I bought a few groceries earlier and when I got back I forgot to put the eggs in the frig. They sat on my bed for about an hour. I then put them in the freezer so they would hurry up and get cold. I forgot again and they sat in there for about 2 hours. Are they still OK to eat?

Hey, eggs are pretty cheap, if in doubt, chunk em!.......However, if you're ever worried about an egg being to old to eat, do this..........In a pan of tap water, just put the egg in it. If the egg lays flat on its side on the bottom, it's very fresh. If the egg stays on the bottom but becomes upright, it's still ok even though it's not the freshest.
If the egg floats, get rid of it!!!!
Your eggs are probably just fine.

Yes.
When I was young, they didn't even refrigerate eggs, LOL, of course I suppose they were fresher then...and now they sit around for a long time at the supermarket.
Your eggs were TOTALLY FINE unrefrigerated for an hour, and even longer. The mistake was freezing them. Yes, they are still okay to eat, but the freezing may have made the texture a little off for you.
Yes, I would still eat them.

you should have just put them in the fridge. It usually says on the carton do not freeze, but I'm not sure what harm that could really do. An hour out shouldn't really do much harm but.....perhaps you should just make one and check it out. Most will say throw them out, but the day food gets so dangerous is the day we should stop eating, after all refrigeration hasn't been around forever.

Eggs can stay out of refrigeration for 7-10 days. Remember when they say to bring eggs to room temperature in certain recipes.
Did they freeze?
If they did then the would of cracked. If they cracked use in a few days or freeze then scrambled for later recipes.

ABSOLUTLY NOT!! After all that time sweating, and cooling down, while you were gone. The eggs have a lot of bacteria, causin either salmonella or ecoli.
EGGS ARE NOT MADE FOR FREEZING!!!!

lol Don't know if you can freeze eggs. Crack one open after they've thawed. If it looks ok, they're probably fine.

They probably won't make you sick if you cook them all the way through, but I wouldn't use them.
