Well, whatever we are, it seems we push your buttons somehow. *shrugs*

I can bust that theory with three words: I'm emotional. Sure, I use logic, I don't have any ego or anything. Also, I've seen a lot of "spiritual" people who are more egotistical than atheists. Also, reason and logic is cold hearted most of the time. Also...we don't let our feelings get in the way of answering questions (unless they REALLY p1ss us off...) And...I guess this is the most "wit" that I can come up with...since it's the truth (from my point of view, of course...)

Well when you try to analyze people who you can't actually know how they think, how do you expect anyone to even bother taking your question seriously.
(Edit: Not to mention the "anti believer" thing isn't winning you any smart points.)
I doubt this is a real question, you are just posting to complain.
"Masculine"? Yeah, alrighty then... guess you don't like women that can stand on their own two feet and think for ourselves. (Maybe you prefer those feminine guys in your religion... A real man is atheist and a real woman is believer, by your line of thinking?)

In all fairness, I am not offended by the sarcasm and mean-spirited questions and answers aimed at atheists. I'm not emotionally numb, but there's little point in being overly sensitive. It's unfair to single out atheists, there are people on all sides of the religion debate that aren't opposed to some good-natured ribbing.

"Anti" believers?? That would mean they are against believing. Perhaps "non" believer is a more appropriate term, meaning they don't believe in whatever it is YOU seem to think they should believe in, because you are closed-minded and intolerant. And no, they are not emotionally numb. They find fulfillment in ways other than spirituality..

You start right off on the wrong foot . I know of no one who is an anti-believer . Anti means against . I for one , am not against anyone believing whatever foolish superstition he cares to believe .
The word is non-believer . One who does not believe in the impossible .
I believe that religious people are just stupid , superstitious , easily lead , nuts , but please don't that this in a derogatory way .

It only appears that way. It's actually our incredibly high level of brain activity, our ability to put emotion aside and think and our natural inquisitiveness. These are character traits of the the great thinkers and inventors of our kind. It is important to be aware of the emotion content within an argument. Theists arguments are based mostly on emotion and their decision to reject logic and reason is due to their emotions being manipulated.

You seem a bit narrowly focused. Some of the most spiritually well-rounded people I know are atheists. They are very compassionate and emotionally well-grounded.

Anyone who has lived to the age of sixty is emotionally numb or is lying to themselves. There may be a few who have never "lived".
