These verses of the Bible were written to Timothy specifically, the church in particular, and to all in general.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
" All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work".
Any person who is unwilling to accept God's interpretation of life, has no coherence in his experience. That's why, in the book of Ecclesiastes, "everything under the sun" seems to be meaningless. "My ways are not your ways" says the LORD. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight". [Proverbs 3:5-6]

This is the purpose of intelligent creation. If we were originally created for this purpose, then serving God is what will make us live fulfilled lives. This means following the Christ and serving the true God like Jesus did.
