Careful...posi traction is a GM trademark. You could cause a war saying "posi" and "Ford" in the same sentence!
You just drain the axle oil, take off the rear differential cover, take out the differential case, unbolt the ring gear from it, buy a limited slip differential case (Like a Detroit Tru-Trac), bolt your ring gear on it, put the case back in the axle, make sure the gears are setup, put the cover back on and put in some oil.
The gear setup part is important. Check the tooth contact pattern carefully (you might let a pro shop do this). If the gears aren't meshing right, they can wear themselves out in short order.

i don't know what dealer you bought it from but tell him to stick to selling cars and leave the rest of it to ppl that knows what they are talking about, if you have the owners manual it will tell you to use reg. unleaded 87 octane your car will actually not run as well on higher octane . the brain box is set for the lower octane and you will burn up your o2 censers faster with higher octane
