we can heal all kinds of things on people, but not many things on animals, so sometimes they put them down. is God okay with this? to kill so it wont suffer anymore?

God tells us to rule over the animals. There are many reasons for putting animals down, yours is one reason, to keep balance in nature, for food, for clothing, etc.
Edit: Animals have no eternal spirit so they cannot go to heaven. They just cease to exist.

Not a problem Animals are for our use as food, clothing, and even companionship.. They serve many purposes, catching mice, guard dogs.
We are given dominion over them and are to treat them humanly, and kill them if need be..
Them going to heaven is not explained, but they surely don't go to hell and are not in need of salvation.
Just like the article in the news about the chimp not having a home if the animal shelter closed, they can just put him to sleep and it is ok..

God gave Adam dominion over all living things on the Earth,animals,birds,fish,plants, this means he can use all these for his needs,it does not include blood sports though.
There is no logical reason to suppose that animals have a soul,if there was the scriptures would have stated so.

So what are you leading to Euthinasia, the animals as far as we know dont have souls such as humans they are now for food etc or pets . So if an animal is severly hurt its usualy put down . I would think God is ok with it
