Jesus felt many things while here, that is why the Bible tells us that He is able to keep us from temptation for He himself knows tempation, and struggle... He Is God! Therefore I am sure he was very happy to tell others about His wonderful plan of salvation- and because He became a man, we know that he did feel many things....however he did all of this without sinning! Amazing isn't it?

someone answered that Jesus was perfect and always happy however, here's what i think:
jesus was human (although perfect)
and it said in the bible that he got angry at times, and that he was deeply saddened, so we know he is emotional (not emo, neccisarily, just able to show emotion) we also know that he died on the cross to save us for our sins, which is the GREATEST act of comapssion ever, which is like love (John 3:16) , which is close to happyness.
So Jesus (the human) showed many emotions
but the bible never actually says Jesus was happy
so... you could say no because he left his father (God) and had to come to earth and live among the sin and die (a sad story)
or you could say he was happy... (Mat. 25:14-30) here jesus is talking metaphorically about using what god has given you to serve him (God being the 'master' and us being the 'servants') to the men who use their money to make more, and give it back the master says, "Come and share your master's happiness!"
so if the master is happy, and God is the master, and God and Jesus are one in the same, then wouldn't Jesus be happy too?
i don't really know this is just some points to ponder, but the word 'happy' or 'happiness' is only used 30 times in the whole bible, not many for such a large piece of literature and compaired to the amount of usage of other words
so i guess it is just something we'll have to ask him when we meet him!

I believe that Jesus was a very wise and compassionate individual who had a lot to say about how to live, and by the way was very happy most of his life. I say this because if he lived by his own words, he had to be happy. The unfortunate thing is that many people who "believe in" Jesus, are not very happy at all, and they don't really get what he was trying to teach.

From my studies of His life on Earth I would say he was generally a very happy person. Very upbeat, always looked for the inherent good in people instead of the bad. He taught love and understanding instead of condemnation (that is God's job on judgment day.)
Of course he had some bad days, He was human and carried human emotions. I bet that last Good Friday was a real downer, what with the nails and whipping and cross and dieing and all. But I suspect rising from the grave felt pretty good.

Happy is not the right term. According to the Bible, hapiness is based on happenings, so that people are happy when things happen which they want. In the Bible Jesus taught that JOY was the thing to search after because joy is possible regardless of the circumstances, and Christians are able to rejoice in tribulations because joy is internal. The Bible mentions the joy of Jesus, but never His happiness.

Jesus did not come to earth for His happiness, He came to earth to save us. However, I know that He did spend time in the homes of people that He loved, so I assume that He had some good times while here- but knowing that His purpose for coming to earth was not to be served but to serve- and to give Himself up for us- that was his joy. In Phil. 2 it says, "For the joy set before Him, which is the cross". Can you imagine someone thinking that the Cross was joy- it was to Him, because it brought us eternal life and joy unspeakable and full of glory.

I don't know about happy... He was very focused on the mission at hand.
In the garden of Gethsemene, he actually asked God the Father to remove the cup from him and God sent angels to minister to him. I would say he was not happy when he was sweating "...drops of blood" and paying for all the sins of humanity.
He also showed a little human-like desperation on the cross when he cried "...eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani" or Father, Father was hast thou foresaken me?
So, there were points in his life when he definately was not happy.

Hmmm... I beleive that he had joy in knowing God his Father. I believe that he experienced all sorts of feelings like all humans do. But Jesus is God as well.... hmmm... That's an interesting question...

Just read Lord Jesus' description according to the Prophet Isaiah and you may know Lord Jesus Christ life while He dwelt among us, John 1:14!
Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Isa 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
I see, Lord Jesus was so happy after, He was able to finish the work commissioned by God the Father. Please read His prayer in John 17 (KJVR). AMEN.
