Saint Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Head of the Holy Family, and Guardian of Our Lord.
He is a powerful patron for fathers, particularly those of us who are widowed.

I feel closest to either St Therese' The Little Flower or (he is not sainted yet but, he will be) Pope John Paul II. I watched over my Dad who was undergoing a parallel suffering from Parkinson's Disease with the Pope. I prayed for my Dad and my Dad passed shortly after the Pope.

My patron saint (obviously) St. Teresa of Avila. But St. Patrick is my second fav. He was so awesome but St. Teresa had more personality and I'm a girl.

St. Martin de Porres.
When I first learned about him I was moved by his love of nature and animals. I've also been inspired by his selflessness, by the fact that he founded a shelter for sick animals and also orphanage for the children. He offered his services as a doctor free of charge to anyone who needed them and he even planted an orchard to feed the poor. There is so much more about him that I think is awesome, and it would take me forever to type it up. :)

The Blessed Virgin Mary because she prays for us constantly; her mother/Jesus' grandmother, St. Anne, the patroness of our local parish; St. Christopher the protector, St. Michael the defender; St. Jude for his help with the lost causes.

I feel great admiration for Pope St. Pius X, and I am very close to someone on the road to sainthood (his case is in Rome as of earlier this year) : Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

Saint Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland and was a faithful servant of the Lord. During that time their was a lot of corruption in the church but he perserved and did God's will.
