The apostles often found themselves in positions where a man or woman who had an unclean spirit in them would walk after the apostles proclaiming them as men of God.

Usually, they would get to the apostles and the apostles would cast the unclean spirit from them.

If you are serious, this very same can be happening with your church. Yet, the remedy is simple. Just as it says in Mark 16, all believers have the ability to cast our demons, unclean spirits. Yet, one must be very careful and be sure of their salvation. For if one trys to cast out an unclean spirit and one is not of the body of Christ, the unclean spirits can work through the person they possess and cause harm to you.

Yet, if one is covered by the blood of the lamb, there is nothing to worry about. For greater is he who is in you, then he who is in the world.

I would highly recommend that before attempting this, fast and pray first. And be led of the Holy Spirit. In other words, if you feel led to cast the spirit from this person, then by all means do so.

Most likely, the person is under the control of the spirit and the reason he is there is for deliverance.

Does he have a permit? In most states you need a permit to protest in a public place. Call the police and ask them. If he needs a permit, then ask the police to check to see if he has one.

If he doent need one there is nothing you can do. He is in public and if there is no need for a permit to protest then he has every right to be there.

Although he cannot be on church property without church permission, so check to see that he is NOT on church properety with his protest. If he is you can maybe, depends on the laws of your state get him for trespassing or disturbing the peace.

Oh my. Are you serious? That would make me laugh. My church has protesters all the time and I have never ever ever seen one in a devil suit. I would probably just laugh and shake their hand.

Sing louder, pray harder, greet him with kindness. He is still a child of God, whether he is mocking or not. Show him the love that the Church shares, and pray that he will be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is a test. He wants you to challenge him with force and retaliation. He wants YOU to turn away from God by turning your concern away from church and toward the mockery. Kill him with kindness. He'll either tire of trying to upset everyone and give up, or he'll realize that you are all good people and leave you to worship in peace.

get out the halos and wings and stand between him and the church and sing songs at him until the worship service is over. then go home. Or, I'd just ignore him unless he becomes threatening, protesting in a costume is not threatening. One good myth deserves another.

As a church I would pray together that you all can help in some way if he needs it first. Then I would ask the Lord to remove him if he is not wanting or needing any help.

As long as the person is not breaking any laws; trespassing, destroying property, etc, the person has the right to protest.

Bear in mind that doing such things as throwing holy water on the person may make you liable for assault charges.

get out there in a jesus costume lol....just kidding......file a restraining order because a place of worship is not under federal laws and they have no right on the property when they are menacing or threatening.

oh, we had the exact same problem at my church. What we did is we threw holy water on him, and shouted "out, Demon! Thou art not welcome in the house of OUR LORD. Go BACK forth from WHENCE you came!!" And just like that, he got in his car and drove off.
