it seems to me that the christian god must be a complete idiot. besides all the retarded things he askes us to do, it seems he wants people to go to hell. why would he plant light thats more then 10,000 light years away so that we could see it, then in his book tell us the universe began somewhere around 4004bc ...i suppose thats question 1

my second question is why would he ask us to do such stupid things to get into heaven

first question: why would we be able to see light further than 10,000 light years away when the bible is pretty clear it started 4004bc

second question: why dont people die for working on the sabbath and other such retarded things, as is stated in exodus 31:12-15

i want you to know im honestly looking for an answer, not just spouting religious hate....but if your answer is that thats only in the old testament, then that wont do.....

jesus pretty clearly says he wants the old testament followed....

The bible is NOT GOD'S book. This awful compilation of writings came about because of a government order from emperor Constantine. We can only guess how qualified the people given this responsibility were. Well, they screwed up and will have to answer for it big time. I would not want to be in their shoes come judgement day. The gnostic gospels are scripture and the o.t. is not. GOD is only a retard if you believe Moses instead of Jesus.

Addition: If you think Jesus wants us to follow the o.t. you are not paying very close attention to what He says and does.

Why are you quoting the Old Testament and then talking about the Christian God? With the New Testament came a new "agreement", even though they are the same God. As a christian you are not required to follow the Torah....maybe you should rephrase your question.

The Jewish faith and the Christian faith are two separate things. I'm pretty sure God was referring to his people (Jews) at the time. Things changed later on.
