Is this a hypothetical question or do you now recognize the possibility that a God does exist my friend? I sure am curious ha ha
Why must God have a need to place us in this system. Maybe in one view it is just a game that He is playing just as we humans like to play such as video games to pads the time. You know If a God does exist and He does have eternity, it is a long time to just set around and to count his toes.
Would this concept satisfy the view of an Atheist?
Just a friend enjoying this Q&A and trying not to argue OK

God is creation. His creation could not be contained. It overflowed manifesting in creating Jesus, & the Holy Spirit. Then the love continued to flow and create the angles. Then space & time were created.
We humans are unique in that we are created with Free Will that allows us to love God or to turn away from his love. Heaven is described as happily being in the presance of God while Hell is described as unhappily being away from his presance.
God is perfect love. It's our gift and journey to discover what perfect love is and how that fits into our creation with God.

First of all God created us because He wanted a family.
God wants family, God is sensitive since His capacity is larger than ours, God expresses what He feels. Like us God needs love, oh yes God can hurt more than we do, because His capacity is lager.
God needs is for us to be more like Him, He is satisfied when we do good, when we like Him have compassion on our neighbors, when we are truthful, and when we help one another.

He is a reflection of humans. He was created by man to satisfy man's need to having meaning and purpose. And to smite those who needed smiting.

He isn't needy...you are...He wanted to love you,,,with no strings....just love you..and for you to love him because you want to do it not because you have to. That is why he gave you free will. And look how many mock him for that! What a bunch of losers.
To hate someone just because they want to give you eternal life and to love you. Inconceivable isn't it? But Hell will be filled with people who think they know it all and will find they know nothing...nothing that was important..

God does not need us, God desires to have a relationship with us- which is totally different- if he needed us all, he would not give us a choice not to love Him back.

it might not be His needs He is so concerned about. maybe by asking us to be more giving. loving, selfless, humble, etc. He is helping us to reach our greater potential. of course many Christians say it and don't do it, so it matters not.
