this is my cats 2nd lot of kittens and she has gone off of dry food and will only eat tins. Over the past 2 days she has had severe runny stools. Should I take over the feeding of the kittens? What should I do about mum? Help please I am at a complete loss!

She ran away after her first lot of kittens and came back about three days before she had her 2nd lot. Don't judge when you don't kno the facts please as I love my cat and do not look on her as a kitten factory!

Keep letting her nurse the kittens- her milk has more nutrients than the milk replacement formula. Do not let her eat tinned/canned/wet food anymore because that is causing the diarrhea. Keep her on dry cat food- she will not starve herself.

I would call the vet and ask someone there about it. I would say that she is sick or it is because she is only eating wet food now so her diet has changed and it has affected her tummy. A phone call to the vet is the best thing to do. They will tell you what to do from there.

I say call the vet, when my cats had kittens, they never had the runs.

Why don't you consult a VET!!! And get her spayed asap. She does not need to spend her life as a kitten machine.

That is unhealthy for her!!!!
