It's kind of suprising how much Ignorance there is. All the people who have answered you are obviously Christian (with the exception of a couple) and refuse to learn anything about any other religion because they would rather be ignorant and blindly follow a faith because thats how their parents and society says you should be. I am not a Satanist so if any answer you and give you better answers by all means believe them over me. But to my knowledge Satanists don't actually believe in a being named Satan. They think of Satan more as the ability to do what one wants to do and care about oneself without having to follow the rules of a book written by human beings claiming they heard from "God". They do not do any of the horrible things that the bigots in this question say they do. Most are very nice people who work very hard because they really dont believe that any being is going to do anything for them. They are the only ones looking out for themselves and they don't have some sky daddy to blame bad things that happen on. Again if any Satanists do answer this question and I am wrong I apologize. I have very limited knowledge on the subject but from the few unbiased things I have read this is what I can get from it.

If it was the right path for you, then you'd be at peace and enjoying your spiritual freedom... just like any other person who walks his/her path.
I'm appalled at the amount of people who are actually ignorant to the beliefs of Satanists here.

You could do whatever you wanted to do in this short life until the police and the judicial system caught you.
Then you could sit in your cell until you were released and start it all over again.
Eventually, as all living creatures do and /or will do , you will die.
After you die, the fun will quickly stop and a rather unpleasant eternity will await you.
any "benefits" of converting to the worship of Satan will be very short lived and the negatives will go on for a long, long time!

Being a part of a group. I think that's it...I live my life in line with most of their beliefs...but I have no desire to be in a specific religion.

Well you know that you couldn't get sent to any place worse. Unless you got sent to Detroit. Plus maybe you could get sent back to earth to torment Christians. Plus there would be alot of shocked Christians in Hell to make fun of.
