i was wondering if i dont have a hd tv will the graphics still be good on a regularly tv? and also would it be worth buying blue-ray dvds to watch or would it be the same graphics on a standard tv? i want a ps3 i dont have an HD tv so should i still get a ps3? i dont wanna waste my money if i dont have good graphics. also can i play battlefield 2 online on the ps3 its a ps2 game though? and can you transfer your memory on your memory card to the hards drive and how and what do you need for that?

the ps3 graphics are stil good on a regular TV, but are better on the HD TV's. If you dont have an HDTV or a cord to connect to the HDTV then you should not purchase blu-ray dvd's in you want to play a ps2 game online then you will most likely not be able to without the ethernet cord (included)
and the only way to get the things from the ps2 memory card is to buy a seperate adaptor (can be purchased at walmart) for 15 bucks but its better to buy it from amazon which will be cheaper
Another great thing that the ps3 has is great online,
Also if your getting an HDTV in the future you will have to buy either a component cable or HDMI cable to play in high def. but those can also be purchased at amazon for cheap. Get the 60 gig you wont need more than that trust me

I agree with the answer you got above. Either way it will look better and eventually you'll get an HDTV so go for it. And yes you can play online with the ps3 i recommend getting the 60g or the 80g ps3, or to save some money get the 40g. Btw Blu Rays are sick to watch.

I have a bog standard TV i found on the street [no joke]
The qualioty of the games is till very good.
But for Blu Ray Movies it isnt.
They all come out in black and white because they are broadcasting a signal my crappy tv cant properly receive. I know this because i got casino royale for free because i singed up early.
So i sold it on eBay

in the next 2 years you will have to have a tv capable of recieving hd signals so you might as well get the ps3 because you will be getting a tv upgrade eventually anyway....Yes the graphics lookk great on any tv...

the graphics are still awesome on SDTV. its still the same on SDTV for blu-ray. you still should get a ps3!! you can play ps2 games thru ps3. you need a memory card adaptor to transfer the memory card info to ps3. i think its about 25 bucks
