It is an invented name, but probably some variant of Tariq, which in Arabic means Morning Star (even if it didn't come from that, it sounds pretty, so I'd adopt that as the meaning for my name!).

I always wonder how Afram names should be pronounced?
I've seen 3 siblings EACH one with the double names containing TWO apostrophes!!!
For example: N'gamen-Shak'eel Jones.
And his little brother. And their little sister.

I am not kidding.
