god people would rather get mad at me for showing flaws in their beliefs than to question the very god that tells them that he has their lives planned out for them... question your faith.... use common sense

You asked a question this cruel and this heartless, to prove a point?
Consider yourself lucky that God is NOT reaching down into the world to make everything all nicey nice for everyone...because you'd be one of the main targets for smiting.
Sids babies don't die because God is angry with the parents. Cancer doesn't happen because God wants to "get even" with someone, car accidents are not caused by God, people don't get AIDS because God is mad at homosexuals, or any of the rest of that nonsense. Life and death are a part of the natural process that we must live with, until time finally ends, and death will no longer exist.
OH, btw...I am a "hardcore Jesus Freak"...
You can tell, because even though you have maligned my God, and committed the sin of not capitalizing Jesus or Freak, as you ought, I will still tell you that God does love you...which only proves that He has much more patience than I have...and that, if you will only humble yourself and come to Him, He will give you the gift of everlasting life.
You might, actually, learn to be a decent human being...with His help.
God bless you.

NO, but the elements that mankind have created has everything to do with it.... Vaccinations should be questioned and never given to babies at birth .... among other environmental BS that are imposed on without our say ! I have 2 sons with Autism and a daughter with behavioral issues that go outside of the norm. If I knew what I know now I would have done everything different ..I now sign waivers so I don't have to affect my children anymore!
Do the research you will be amazed what you will find about SIDS and the culprits that have covered the true reason for it....

God doesn't judge. God doesn't punish. God doesn't give to some and not to others. God just is. It's a power. It's the power of LOVE.
If a baby dies of SIDS or AIDS or any horrible disease - it's just that - - - a horrible disease. God shows up in the loving arms that embrace the grieving parents and siblings and loved ones. God shows up in the strength that builds after time. God shows up in the beautiful memories of the lost child.
God is LOVE. It works through us.
Namaste!

Absolutely NOT - God would not do that.
And especially NOT to a little baby who has never done anything wrong.
Where did you ever get such an idea!?
No matter what a person's beliefs, a SIDS death is tragic and confusing.

Of course not. While you're at it, perhaps you wish to start blaming SIDS on Lilith as well?
SIDS has to do with immature respiratory systems in babies. Sometimes, they forget to breathe.
SIDS has decreased a great deal since parents started placing babies on their backs to sleep. Babies who are nursed and have frequent skin-on-skin contact also have a greater chance of survival.

Before asking this question, did it occur to you that there may be people on here who have lost a baby to SIDS? Could you have maybe picked out something a little less insensitive or maybe less specific to prove your point?
To answer your question, no. Death is not a punishment to anyone.
And why is it YOUR place to point out hypocrisy? Aren't we all hypocrites in one way or another?

This question is in really bad taste, even if it were quesitoned toward a pagan, buddhist, muslim, atheist, agnostic, etc. Youre complete disregard for the beliefs and feelings of others is very apparent. Rent a sandwich board and stand on a street corner, this is the equivelant of it.

If any god existed that would use SIDS as a way to punish parents, that god would be evil.

No. SIDS is NOT "gods way of punishing parents".
SIDS is a very sad, unfortunate and tragic thing to happen to an infant.
It's also sad that you make light of it.

It's possible. God does chasten people. But in the Bible people asked Jesus if it was the parents' fault that a man had been born blind and He said no.
