He told me yesterday and I was shocked (he's 22). I've been successful with other guys, but I've only tried once before with him. He's had other girlfriends, but none have been able to do it for him. Do you think they weren't good at it or is it more difficult for some guys? Any tips will help

Some guys just have a difficult time orgasming with oral. I know I do, I have been successful only a few times.
Here are some hints to help.
1. apply finger pressure or rub on the area between his penis and his anus, I forget the name of the area, it starts with a "P"
2. Lubricate and insert your finger into his anus. About two inches in, more or less, is his prostrate. with a "come here" movement of your finger message his prostrate. (Please don't have long fingernails!) This will really get a guy going and pleasing to him while you are busy giving oral.

Haha - sounds like a challenge to me! And yeah, my fiance told me the same thing when we first became intimate..let's just say I put an end to that! Maybe it is more difficult for some guys to come that way, but I think it's about speaking up and finding out what they like (or more importantly, what they don't like - because I think the problem can be accidentally doing something they hate, and that throws the guy off). Communication is VERY important!

For some men, they can enjoy oral but not exactly, um "get off" on it. It's more to do with the guy himself and less of the guy's technique.

Some guys can't, as a matter of fact, I'm one of them. I never have, and believe me a lot of girls/women have tried. Don't take it personal.

I think is the guy's problem. He is probably not relaxed enough. Let him know that is ok and you don't think it is grose or anything. Just reassure him and keep trying.

Some guys fuss over the hygienity of it.
