What would you get in to? My bills are roughly $4k a month and many jobs are commission only... Any ideas?

Depends on what you're qualified to do and what interests you...

I do know this, a good salesman will always have a job. Talk to the folks in your network (the folks you sold to at the old job) and find out who needs you the most. Let them know what you can do to help them and what you'd need to go to work to make good things happen for their business.

It always bugs me when I hear people say things like "I hate sales" and "I'd never be in sales" - complete BS, in my opinion. We're all in the business of selling ourselves every day. You're a step ahead, however, you have experience, you know what you need to get out of a job, so now all you have to do is start setting some hooks...the biggest fish that bites, gets you as an employee.

Good Luck and don't stress out too much - we've all been there before and with today's job environment, we're liable to be there again.

Indo,

While I agree that if you were in a sales position, you should start your own home business, I would suggest that you first learn how to look for the right opportunity. Just because you had a bad experience in one sales position doesn't mean that it isn't an excellent career choice!

Sales offers you the ability for less limitations on your income than an hourly rate job. In your own home business, the income is limited only by you! You can earn whatever you want if you know how to find the right company and have a positive attitude and mindset!

I have an article that can help in finding the right opportunity for you. It teaches you what to look for, what to avoid and questions to ask in determining if it is the right opportunity for you and if the company is legit. If you know how to find the right company, sales can be a very rewarding career! I have 20 years experience and I wouldn't want to do anything else!

If you would like a copy of the article, please email me at bonnieram1962@yahoo.com and I will email you a copy as it is too long to send through answers messaging. Just let me know that you want the article about finding the right opportunity.

I wish you all the best in whatever path that you choose and look forward to helping you.

Wrong move.
You get the new job first,
then you quit the old one.

Have you think of starting business on-line? It requires small capital, working from home, hussle free and you start right away. Just put your name and e-mail address in www.wealthywinningwomen.com and you can get free info and e-book from the world affiliate marketing.

Good luck. Stop procrastinating & start taking action!
