I held two MOS's for most of my Army career (31B and 19E/K).
After 9/11 I got switched back and forth between the two based on what the Army needed worse at the moment.

I did. My primary was 13N (Lance Missile Crewmember), and my secondary was 31K (Wiredog, which for some reason was actually my first posting for about four months OJT).
Having more than one MOS also gives you more promotion points and preferable standing when being promoted to sergeant.

you can hold multiple mos's, being your primary, secondary, alternate and so on, but any position in the army only requires one mos to do the specific job youre assigned to.
