Hmmm, That's a good question. I have had a male friend for about 6 years now, and think that there has always been an attraction there, but the way I look at it is... You have to think about , what if you do try, and it doesn't work out. Are you willing to lose that friendship you once cherished? Very tough question.

yes but it may and may not be the same after the "something more" is no more! Just be careful because on the up hand it could be "something more" and become more from that! Its like a regular relationship either way you stay friends or you don't...you have an awesome relationship and get married or break up badly and are no longer friends....Good Luck!

something more just means more close... good friends are already pretty close... being good friends is very liable to become something more if they both enjoy each others company...obviously this is more likely if the two do not have interests in other people, because in that case only a friendship is ever sustained...

Yes, over time a male/female friendship can evolve into love...the best kind of relationships are people who were friends first...

yes me and my best friend of 6 years started to date and then 8 months later we were married and now 8 1/2 yrs later we have been married for 2 1/2 happy years. anything is possible as long as both people want it and will make the first step. thats what kept me n my huband apart was we would talk to other people and have them to find out for us, it doesnt work lol obviously a high school thing, so just be the brave one and ask how they feel or hang out and see how close you get and what kind of signals your receiving. ♥goodluck♥ i hope it works out for the best

Yes, I've been married to someone who was my good friend for 10 years before we ever got together. Because you already know each other you cut out a lot of the ups and downs of getting to know someone and their past.

Yes. Matter of fact that should be how most relationships start anyway. You shouldnt date someone unless u become good friends with them anyways. U should never date someone unless you've known them 4 a while

Of course!!! That's how alot of relationships start out. Best friends make the best lovers!!! That's my whole goal is to find a guy who can also be my best friend. I think that's the key to a good relationship.

If you're a girl and are asking the question, then the answer is "yes, he's hoping you'll make a move."

If you're a guy who's asking the question, then the answer is "yes, but not for you."

If she's interested in being more than friends, you would know about it already.

of course it happens, the problem is if one of those friends is willing to risk that friendship to get involved into a relationship it might not work and then lose that prior relation they had,so i guess here its about evaluating how much u treasure the friendship of that person to give it a try as a couple.
