Dear pro-war Christians,
have you ever read all of the book of James?
If so, pray tell what kind of in impact did it have in your life?

Well said!

Let us indeed read what James says.

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Perhaps it would be preferable to depend upon God for our protection and salvation?

Then of course we must walk pleasing to the Lord and in His will.

Let God be true and every man a liar.

May God rather be glorified.

Jeezus, guy. you should positioned the cart AFTER the horse such as your question and ask what the hell is so particular about u . s . that Iran, Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia could favor to attack US. Then, and purely then, will your question be responded. (For those of you in Rio Linda, the literal answer to the question as to why lets favor to attack those countries is to PRE-EMPT, HEAD OFF AND/OR supply up assaults adverse to US earlier yet another 9/11 takes position.) EDIT: once you're "denomding" the reality, nicely, the following it truly is. Thirty years in the past, in 1978, the Shah of Iran changed into being overthrown by using some wacky bearded fellow by using the call of Khomeini, and Carter changed into doing not something about U.S. hostages being held there. If issues had lengthy gone my way, your uncle's e book could have study "The U.S. HAS ALREADY invaded Iran, and collapsed them like a rotten football." As for something of those places, the lot who were drawing paychecks from the CIA understood how risky they were to u . s ., yet President Carter both did not take heed to them or couldn't understood a note they stated because HE HAD PEANUTS IN HIS EARS. There. You "Denomded" the reality and that i gave it to you.

I like the following
Every good endowment and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. 18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 19 Know this, my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger, 20 for the anger of man does not work the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore put away all filthiness and rank growth of wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

It's so easy to judge when you are still young.....

What do you do when someone threatens your life, and there is nowhere to turn; nowhere to hide?

Wars have aggressors, and those who resist aggression. If the aggressor claims to be Christian, then that's all it is-- a claim with no basis in truth.

Hmm, agreed, but you have zero credibility in this specific subject area if you're quoting the Bible, but you don't actually believe Jesus or all of the Bible.

Nice try, though.
