I need some ideas for working at home, have any?

I am currently pregnant with my first child, but we don't make enough money to pay for childcare which is about 900 dollars a month in this area. Is there any way that anyone knows of making about 2K a month at home? I can quit my job and stay home if I can do this!

I am currently starting up with a company that sells all natural cleaning, personal hygiene products. The great thing is, you DON'T take orders, you DON'T keep an inventory etc. Basically what you are doing is helping people switch stores. You don't have to call them and remind them to order. They know when they're almost out of toothpaste or shampoo or laundry detergent. Your income depends soley on how hard you're willing to work and how many people you talk to.

stay away from the work at home online scams, they are only ways to get you on a spam list. Are you good at something? can you sell on ebay for instance? if you have knowledge use it to sell things. you can also look ways to use your money better and you won't need as much. if you are not working get rid of your car if it is a new one and invest in a used one you don't have to make payments on since you won't be needing it that much.

never pay to get a job like the online scams, even the ones that are free pay about 20 cents an hour and not worth your time

It really depends on what types of things you're good at.

You could try watching children from your home but you will have to be able to deal with demanding children and parents who will try to walk all over you.

You could do something like building websites, but if you don't know how to do this well you'll have to learn HTML and PHP at least.

If you are creative enough you could try writing or something similar... writing articles for website or magazines or writing books. You might be able to do some graphic design. Make sure you are getting reimbursed enough for this, a lot of people will try to rip you off.

Some people are able to make a lot of money with Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, etc., however this is hard and you will have to buy the products yourself first and then sell them to people. If you don't like it or are unable to do it you won't be able to get your money back for the stuff you bought.

Good luck! I am trying to work from home to stay with my baby too. It takes a lot of self discipline but I think it's worth it. :)

You should look into catering, my mom did this for a while when I was young. She did a lot of dinner parties and luncheons for little old ladies. She did have a few high school kids that would help out with dinners. Advertising was word of mouth and a listing (not a large ad) in the phone book. Hope this helps!

Why not just get a part time job and work nights and weekends. There really aren't that many work at home schemes that work well. You could get a part time job at Babies R Us or something that way you can also get a discount on stuff for the baby.
