Like the other guy said, the emotion engine is a piece of hardware used inside the 60GB PS3 that allows for it to be compatible with PS2 and PS1 games.

The 80GB PS3 doesn't have the emotion engine inside it, instead it uses software that allows it to be backwards compatible and it can't play as many PS1 and PS2 titles.

WiFi allows you to connect to the internet wirelessly and play online wirelessly. Also, the PS3 has a web browser, so you can surf the web too.

I have the 60GB PS3, I really recommend getting that version instead of the 80GB because the backwards compatibility is really worth it.

Emotion Engine was a CPU of PS2. In NTSC PS3 60GB it deals with PS2 games. Wi-fi is a wireless internet. You have to get a wi-fi router in order to use it. NTSC 60GB version is the best choice if you plan to play a lot of PS2 games.
