I just dont understand why people have such a hard time placing their faith in God. Especially Christians! The bible tells us that without faith it is impossible to please Him. How can we ever lead a life that is pleasing to the Lord if we cannot even put our faith in His hands. He will never steer us wrong, he will never forsake us, he will never abandon us, and he will always be faithful and loving. Come on people, just put your faith in Him and everything else will fall into place. As Christians we should be setting an example for all others to follow. We need to win more people to the Lord, so we need to start by having faith in Him that he will allow us to do good works and win souls for His glory.

To all the Atheist who answered this question....I will pray for each of you. I believe in the bible and I believe in God, nothing nor anyone will ever ever change that. I dont necessarily believe in "religion" because I do not like labels, but I am a spiritual believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. The alpha & the omega, the Beginning & the end! He is Lord of all creations. All the atheist people out there....you say you dont believe because theres no proof??? Well thats the whole meaning of the word FAITH.....its the substance of things hoped for & the evidence of the unseen!!! Its so sad to see so many non-believers in the world today. But for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.

Why is it so hard for people to just have faith in God? Good question. I feel that it is hard for people to trust God because of all that is happening in the world today. For me personally, I could not live without having faith in God. Trusting in God, the father, Jesus the son, and the holp spirit have gotten me out of some pretty rough situations. If not for the Lord I would not be here today. I onced asked myself if there really was a God. I asked what did I have to lose to find out if there really was a God. If I trusted in him I gained life, if not what would happen next. Too me, people that don't trust in God are really afraid of what they would find. Would they lose friends or loved ones or would they find everlasting peace. I challenge anyone to give God a try, really, what do you have to lose?

Having faith in God and "winning more people to the Lord" are two entirely different things. Do you really believe that God needs man's help to win souls?

God's not trying to save the whole world right now. If He was, it would be done. At this time, God is only dealing with a few, the overcomers...the rest He is saving for later...everyone is their own order.

God himself told us to have faith in him. If god were to do big flashy miracles for us to see, no one would need faith.. faith is believing something even though u cannot see it, oh god has already done so to over 600 people who witness christ sacrifice and who has been risen again after 3 days, so why is it so hard to have faith in god?

I am an atheist. I find it very difficult to have faith (believe in without evidence) in gods.

I think the difficulty is similar to why you may find it difficult to have faith in the invisible pink unicorn that lives in my garage and controls the universe from there.

If you can answer that honestly for yourself, you can tell why I have a hard time with faith in gods.

hmm....I don't know. Let's see. First god creates this evil dude, namely satan, and refuses to destroy him for his insolence. Then, it creates man, knowing that they would sin, but hey, who cares? Then, it doesn't care if injustice is happening in the world, because oh there's this after life and blah blah blah. No matter how much you suffer in this world, oh you are going to be rewarded later on because god couldn't make it right the first time.

All these observations point to two conclusions:
1. there is no god.
2. even if there is one, it is very lazy.

So no thank you.

yeah if it wasn't a made up load of old cobblers that i can't believe people go along with then maybe your question would be worth considering. When are you people going to realise that believing in this kind of rubbish has caused more hatred and hurt to people than anything else on this planet. I just don't get your type.

It's EASY to have faith.
But it's more difficult, challenging, and interesting to be skeptical. Atheism requires more brain power, more emotional nuance, and more courage, especially in places dominated by believers.

People dont just wake up one day and go
im an atheist now

They've all had bad experiences with religion and would rather run from it than solve their problems.
