Oh they know it all right. It's not all that complicated. But radically honest Christianity is so threatening to the established social order that those who are in charge will do anything to disguise it. Imagine, if everyone sudddenly started to live as if Christianity made an actual difference in their lives, if everyone started imitating Christ, demanding justice for the poor and powerless everywhere, or acting directly to help them, living simply, without worrying about their wealth or security. The political, financial and marketing worlds would fall apart! Even Christian leaders would feel their power extremely threatened.

No, the standard procedure for dealing with any reform movement is to make it about membership and cheerleading and trivial "knowledge", not about actually doing anything to improve the world. The "complications" you suspect are really an elaborate camoflage for the simple concepts of loving, humble service to the helpless and determined, risk-taking challenges to power, corruption and greed.

I agree with you 100%..No one knows everything, no one church knows everything, we only know what we have learned from the Bible..I really think that many of us including myself have alot to learn and will be more suprised than anything when we do learn it. It will not be taught by man nor and religion nor any church but by God Himself...

I Corinthinas 13:12 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I also am known" Yes, there is much more than what we see or are able to understand.

I agree with you 100%, we don't know everything, no one can, except for our Christ. He is the only one who can know everything about our religion, we know nothing but what He tells us, we don't know what God looks like, what Heaven looks like, there is so much more for us to learn, but there will always be something that the human being won't know. :)

god himself comand us that in the last days many false doctrines will rise , we should only be focusing on god's words, that is in the bible itself.. not the gospel of judas, or the davinci code, those are all fiction books.

Pay attention to this verse, I Timothy 4:1-3 "But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. By means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth."

I agree,

And I believe that it is our responsibility to seek as much knowledge as we can. By looking at science, by looking at the faith of others, by looking at other cultures and by praying for the peace of the Holy Spirit to help us identify eternal truths.

If we seek, we shall find, and great treasures of knowledge will be opened unto us.

You say you believe in Jesus Christ.

What are you saying?

That there is more to Christianity than Jesus Christ?

How can that be?
