The old testement is full of conquest an terrorism. The killing and genocide of people, women and children included. Now any good Christian will tell you that was the "old" testiment. The "new" testement that tells the story of Christ and what happened after has nothing to do with that part of the "old" testement. However, any Sunday School kid know the Genesis story, the 10-Commandments, Psalms, and on and on. If you are a new testement Christian then you should go simply by what Jesus himself said when asked by the Pharises about which of the old laws they should still maintain. He said, "Love God above all else. Love thy neighbor as theyself."
I think the confusion experience by many Christians as to whether war in the name of God is good or not has let to rediculous wars and conflicts.

No, Christianity doesn't teach violence and terrorism. I don't know any Americans who are killing innocent women and children. Perhaps you have them confused with the extremist suicide bombers.

Christianity does not teach violence and terrorism! The fact that their are evil men that claim a belief doesn't make them Christian, any more than barking makes you a dog.

I hate it, everyone hates it, it is something bad that happens because shrapnel does not just hit the guys you want it to. The big differance is that WE hate it, we cry over it, we do all we can to avoid it. Now go ask your buddies why they blow up ice cream trucks in parks full of children...JUST to kill children, and get back to me.
