My boyfriend and I have been recently dating. We got into a discussion and needless to say, our conversation did not end in good terms. We did not speak further that day or the next. Thing is, today is my birthday and he has yet to call. I didnt think we really had a problem not strong enough for him not to call. Should I bother calling him and ask whats going on or should i let him go?

Let him go. A fight is one thing but for him to not get over it and not even bother to call and wish you a happy birthday is NOT a good sign. It says he can't put his ego aside to show you a little love on your special day. If he does call today try and work it out but know that you two obviously have some differences and you will disagree again. If the same thing happens next time its probably not meant to be.

BTW...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Don't let this spoil your day. Get out and have some FUN!

I think if it bothers you that bad and you feel like you need to call then call him. You deserve to know what his problem is. Me personally I think you shouldn't call. he needs to be calling you because it's your birthday, but you do have the right to know, but if he can't even call on this special day you need to let that trash go.

You should let him go and move on with your life, like as if he were never involved in it. Don't let his silence ruin your birthday. Your birthday only comes once a year. You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders and you don't need someone jumping in and out of your life trying to destroy you.

you are waiting for him to call, and rest assured he is waiting for you to call....it's a tough one to call....ego's and pride get in the way again.....You are in a stalemate and one of you has to make a move....Be the bigger person and call him....life is way too short for games....You will be able to tell in a short while if the relationship should really continue...Don't let this little thing break it up before it starts....And again it might be a control situation, its too early to tell, but I would give it another chance.

Don't you think that some sort of explanation is warrented here or do you think like me that he's playing a game called I'm not calling her till she calls me. Up to you if you dump him or not but to me he seems a bit immature.

its not good to end discusions like this with not talking to each other .i think it was better if you have called before.....
if you feel unhappy about that just call him and try to solve the problem .

I would not call. Its your b-day, not his. And if he can be that insensitive of that just b/c of a disagreement, then he is not worth thinking about. Let him call you...its your day!!!
